- I am a new author. Is Literistic right for me?

Absolutely. We are excited to introduce you to great magazines and presses through the monthly newsletter, and we make sure that it's full populated with opportunities both for newer writers and ones more experienced.
- When will I receive my first List?

Shortly after subscribing to Literistic, you'll receive the most recent List. Thereafter, you will receive Literistic via email on the 1st day of every month. We're as excited to get it in your hands as you are to receive it!
- How do I change my subscriber preferences?

In the footer of our monthly email are the words 'your preferences'. Click that link to customize your experience by genre, category, fees, and geography.
- What's your cancellation policy?

We unfortunately can't offer refunds on our services. However, you may cancel your plan at any time to avoid the next auto-renewal at end of term, by unsubscribing at the bottom of the monthly email, or by reaching out to us directly.
- Can I recommend a publication, contest or fellowship?

Absolutely! We'd love to hear from you. By the nature of our service we only publish a select subset of what we see. We can be reached at help@literistic.com.
- How does personalization work?

We use the preferences you set in your account—such as genre (fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction), location, entry fees, and prize ranges—to filter and order the opportunities in your monthly List. The more you tell us about what you're looking for, the more tailored your List becomes. You can update these settings anytime from the "your preferences" link in our emails.
- What subscription options are available?

We offer monthly and annual plans, plus a 14-day free trial. Annual subscribers save compared to paying monthly and receive the same List and features. All plans include the full newsletter, calendar add-to-calendar links, and access to our archive. See our Pricing page for current rates and details.
- How do you handle my data and privacy?

We collect only what we need to deliver the service—such as your email, name, and preferences—and we do not sell your personal information. Data is used to send your List, manage your account, and improve our service. We use industry-standard practices to keep your information secure. - How do I cancel or change my plan?

You can cancel at any time to stop auto-renewal. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Literistic email, or contact us at editors@literistic.com. Refunds are not available after the 14-day window for annual plans, and monthly plans are non-refundable. Once you cancel, you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
